POLICIES
Reservations
We require 50% of your reservation total reservation. Reductions within 3 full days of order date will not be allowed. When an order is placed with The Main Event, all equipment is reserved, prepared, and hand-packed. When a cancellation occurs with insufficient notice, these items are unavailable to other clients. With orders cancelled within 48 hours of delivery or will-call, a cancellation or restocking fee may apply. Special order items will incur a full restocking fee.
Delivery
Our normal delivery hours are Monday – Friday 9:00am to 5:00pm. Deliveries at other times can be arranged, for an additional charge. You may pickup and return your order in your own vehicle at our showroom/warehouse. Please make your reservations at least 48 hours in advance, and we suggest calling ahead to confirm that your order is available for you to pickup. Deliveries are made to a dock, garage or door readily accessible to our trucks.
Setup & Takedown
Setup & Takedown service is available for $1.00 per chair and $2.00 per table. This service must be arranged prior to the delivery/pickup.
Pick Up
All china, silver, utensils, etc., should be rinsed free of food and re-packed in the same containers they were delivered in. Linens should be placed in the provided laundry bags. Tables and chairs should be knocked down and stacked and ready for pickup. All items should be assembled in a single location, ready for pickup. Items not meeting these conditions are subject to additional fees.
Responsibility
Responsibility for the rented items remains with the customer from the time of possession to the time of return.
Damage Waiver
Damage waiver is an optional, non-refundable 10% charge added to your rental contract. It covers accidental damage from normal usage. Damage waiver does not cover loss or negligence.
Long Term Rental
Most prices quoted are for a one day charge. If you desire to use the rental items for a longer period, please call our showroom for long-term rates.
Moonwalks and slides
Moonwalks and slides are not kept at the Main Event showroom therefore the renter will need to place his or her order at least 5 days prior to the planned event. An employee of the Main Event will deliver and set up the moonwalk/slide as well as pick up.
Specialty Linens
Please place order with a Main Event employee at least 2 weeks prior to your event.
